Sponsoring a farm does not only boost the small holder farmers’ production and incomes, but also brings back an income interest to you the sponsor. When you sponsor a farm, Green Shares Limited manages the resources for the farmers’ throughout the different farming seasons from preparing the fields, planting, weeding, harvesting and marketing.
How it works
Talk to us and identify a farm to invest in.
We have a number of small holder farmers we have partnered with. Get In touch with us to identify a farm(s) you are interested in sponsoring.
Farm monitoring, assessment and support
Throughout the farming/production cycle, we closely work with the small holder farmers to ensure risks are mitigated at each stage of production. We also undertake crop insurance.
Revenue allocation and fund disbursement
Once we have received the funds, we allocate these funds to the designated sponsored small holder farmers at the different farming seasons or production cycle.
Sales and revenue assessment for returns
After the harvest period, once the produce has been sold and income from all sales received, the revenue is returned to the sponsors with a dividend.
